Public parking areas are located around subway stations and on the side of main roads in the city to resolve the difficulty of parking in Busan and for the convenience of citizens. In particular, for transparency in parking charges and customers' convenience, for the first time in Korea a card-only parking system has been introduced and is being gradually expanded

  • Total number of locations : 70 (total capacity: 8755 cars)
  • By type : 26 on-street parking lots (1763 cars), 44 off-street parking lots (6,992 cars)
  • By land grade : 18 parking lots (949 cars) on first-grade land, 11 parking lots (1198 cars) on second-grade land, 20 parking lots (3890 cars) on third-grade land, 21 parking lots (2,718 cars) on fourth-grade land
  • Card-only parking lots : 13
  • Directly operated by the Corporation : 39 locations (5989 cars), consigned to private companies: 31 locations (2766 cars)
